Hers is the beautiful voice that first brought the world the classic inspirational song 'One Day at a Time', setting off a recording career that has spanned over 30 years and countless singles. The Minnesota native first began singing gospel music when she was just a toddler. By the time she was a teenager, she was studying voice at an advanced level and demonstrating her incredible piano talents in piano bars. After releasing 'One Day at a Time' in 1973, the album of the same name quickly became a best seller and she went on to tour the world, performing gospel, country and pop classics. Sellars was born to perform, with faith-based charities and organizations being particularly close to her heart. One Day at a Time is her new 36-song, three-CD collection of inspirational classics. Recording the album was a nostalgic experience for Sellars, taking her back to the place that started it all - the historic Creation B Studio where she recorded her first album. Though the look of the studio has been updated, the vibe remained the same and recording there proved to be a welcome homecoming. This also marks her first collaboration with producer Steven C. Anderson and veteran engineer Rob Genedak. Featuring classics from across the musical spectrum like 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow,' 'Amazing Grace' and 'America the Beautiful', this collection has something for everybody and everybody will surely be moved by the incredible talent that lies inside Marilyn Sellars.
