Though each member of Haste The Day thanks Jesus Christ in WHEN EVERYTHING FALLS's accompanying liner notes, one would be hard pressed to discern a Christian message when listening to this disc, especially since many of the vocals here are closer ... Full Descriptionto tortured, demonic screams. Musically, Haste The Day deals in an aggressive, math-rock-influenced brand of modern thrash; complex drum parts and dueling metal guitars are the order of the day here. "If I Could See" features proggy, start-stop rhythms and Anthrax-like hardcore fury. "Fallen" alternates Hell-spawned growls with half-sung, half-shouted vocals of the Faith No More/Red Hot Chilli Peppers variety. Most interesting, though, is "InstruMETAL," a cerebral, swirling ambient piece that recalls the Cocteau Twins. A powerful sophomore effort, WHEN EVERYTHING FALLS is a mightily metallic statement
